tinyDESIGN grew from love – love for children and love for great design. the principals, shaun wolfson & suzy lesser, friends since college and now husband and wife, share a passion for clean lines, bright colors, and classic modern styles. together they hatched tinyDESIGN to create great products for the home for both kids and grown-ups.
shaun wolfson has spent the past two decades working in design on projects throughout the united states, europe, and south africa. his work has been highlighted by esteemed publications ranging from elle décor to architectural digest. for five years, he worked side by side with designer dakota jackson where he helped design and manufacture the award winning library chairs for the san francisco public library. currently shaun works on corporate branding, marketing and web development for new businesses. shaun studied industrial design at syracuse university’s acclaimed school of visual & performing arts.
suzy lesser worked in education for over ten years, teaching pre-school through adult learners in both schools and museums. she earned a masters degree in museum education from bank street college of education. while there, suzy became enamored with the philosophy of progressive education – a cornerstone of the tinyDESIGN philosophy.
